The children engaged so wonderfully with the sessions — listening, observing, creating, and slowly building their own understanding of Warli art. It was lovely to see how much they enjoyed learning something new, and how deeply they concentrated while creating their artwork.
Warli art, with its simple lines, patterns, human figures, nature, animals, and everyday life scenes, became a gentle way for the children to explore culture, storytelling, and visual expression.
What made the workshops special was not only the final artwork, but the process — the patience, curiosity, focus, and joy they brought into the room.
Through FolkDeep, we hope to continue creating spaces where children can learn about folk traditions in a way that feels accessible, creative, and meaningful.
